SPECIAL SOURCING

Custom Shopped Pieces

Sourced specially for you. These pieces follow a separate timeline agreed directly between me and the buyer.

THE JOURNEY

From payment to your door.

Payment first. Orders are prepared once payment has been successfully confirmed. EFT orders remain on hold until funds have been received and matched to the order.

Ready-to-send pieces

Ready-to-send pieces are prepared for courier collection after payment confirmation. Some items may require final checking, packaging or preparation before dispatch. Where a product page specifies a particular turnaround time, that product-specific timeframe applies.

Custom & personalised pieces

Custom, personalised and made-to-order pieces have a standard preparation turnaround of 5–7 working days from payment confirmation and final approval of all required details.

Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays. Courier transit time is additional to the preparation period.

Custom shopped pieces

Some Becoming Mrs pieces are specially sourced or custom shopped for an individual bride and are not part of the standard online store inventory.

These pieces follow a variable timeline agreed directly between me and the buyer before the order is confirmed. The agreed timeline may include sourcing, supplier preparation, delivery to Becoming Mrs, inspection, finishing, personalisation, packaging and final courier delivery.

Standard delivery timing only begins once the custom shopped piece has been received by Becoming Mrs, checked and prepared for dispatch.

Urgent Delivery applies only once the custom shopped piece is ready for dispatch and does not shorten supplier or sourcing timelines.

Important: If a wedding or event date applies, please tell me before the order is confirmed so the expected timeline can be agreed in writing.

THE DETAILS

Delivery terms, clearly explained.

Delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes provided at checkout, by email, WhatsApp or by the courier are estimates. Actual delivery can be affected by destination, regional or outlying areas, weekends, public holidays, weather, road conditions, courier delays, peak-season volumes, strikes, service interruptions or circumstances outside reasonable operational control.

If you need your order for a specific wedding, bridal shower, bachelorette, engagement, honeymoon or other event date, please order with enough time for both preparation and courier delivery.

Your delivery address

Please check your delivery information carefully before completing your order. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, address, unit or estate details, suburb, city, province, postal code, mobile number and email address.

Additional courier charges caused by an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery address may need to be paid before a parcel can be redirected or sent again.

Receiving your parcel

Please use an address where the parcel can reasonably be received during courier delivery hours. Where a parcel is accepted at the supplied address by reception, security, a household member or another authorised person, the courier may regard the delivery as completed.

Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

A delayed parcel does not automatically mean it is lost. If tracking appears delayed, I will work with the courier to establish its location and expected delivery.

If a courier confirms a parcel has been lost or materially damaged, I will assess the appropriate remedy with you. Because many Becoming Mrs pieces are one of one, an identical replacement may not always be possible.

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the outer packaging, shipping label, internal packaging and affected item, and keep all packaging while the matter is investigated.

One-of-one pieces

Many Becoming Mrs garments form part of a carefully curated one-of-one collection. Once payment is confirmed, the item is removed from available stock and may display Found Her Bride 🤍.

Consumer rights

This policy explains the practical delivery process clearly and fairly. It does not exclude, restrict or replace any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.
